February Favorites of 2016

Hello my loves! February has seemingly come and go, I hardly remember it to be honest. That means that it's time for a post of some my favorite things this month (...if I can remember them).

Music

If you're like me, you listen to music all the time. So of course I have to list some of my favorite tracks that I listened to this month.

In order from left to right: Hamilton the Musical, Hate by 4Minute, Papi by f(x), and Married to the Music by SHINee. I've been listening to a lot of k-pop lately, so give it a whirl!

Movies

I'm sure everyone has heard about Deadpool and it is probably my favorite movie so far this year. I don't really watch a lot of movies, so I might be missing some great flicks--but I really enjoyed this one. Though this is rated R for a reason, so do not bring your kids to this.

TV

Superstore speaks to me on a spiritual level. I'm kidding (kinda), but from a retail worker's perspective this show is just hilarious. It honestly gives me some good vibes and this show is incredibly underrated.

Since joining my Chinese class, I decided that it's time to indulge in some Chinese dramas. I'm not very familiar with these as I am with Korean dramas (I'm not even really familiar with those either, but let's not dwell on that), but I've heard about The Empress of China ever since it was shown in China. I can tell you now, this show is great. There are like 95 episodes but I am so ready to watch the rest. The costumes are beautiful, the production value is amazing, and the acting is pretty damn good.

Misc

I've done myself some great things lately that don't fall under these categories. Most of these are just what I kind of call "luxury" items. Things I like, but I know I don't really need

This tea shop opened at the mall recently and ever since I took one quick look through the store, I was in love. I'm a huge tea drinker. I have over 40 kinds of tea in my cabinet and I'm adding more all the time. This place has some great qualitea haha...get it? QualiTEA.

Anywhoodles. These are my favorites so far:

(labelled after my FAVE Shakespeare play)

These are my favorites of this months. I didn't put books because I didn't read much, but I will hopefully have some for the next month.

I just bought tea today! But it is not from David's Tea, we don't really have those, except maybe ONE in Boston which I went in twice. I bought my tea from online, and I am excited to try them all. Also who did NOT listen to Hamilton this month? I have been influenced by my friends, and that is all I listen to now.

I really really need to see Deadpool. I've heard great things about it, but unfortunately I don't really want to spend money at the movie theaters hahahah.

I'm glad you had a great February. I'm sure my mom watches it. Actually, maybe it is a different one. I am not sure. IT WAS ALSO ABOUT EMPRESSES AND A KING AND HOW she didn't really LIKE him and liked her childhood friend or something. I half listened.

Honestly I didn't even know David's Tea was a thing UNTIL they opened one at the mall hahaha. My local mall got a new upgrade so now it looks all cool and modern. But either way, good tea is good tea. I love buying tea from all different places. I know! Hamilton is such the talk in my theatre department, I HAD to listen to it. My favorite songs are My Shot and Burn, though I'm still on the fence about this show.

I TOTALLY FEEL YOU. Movie theaters are so expensive now ;-; I only went because it was the day after Valentine's Day so my boyfriend and I went for it. Otherwise we don't go to the movies much either haha.

I think it might be a different drama??? This one is based off of the only Empress in China that was during the Tang dynasty and it has Fan Bing Bing (she's so pretty ugh). I just love looking at it because the costumes are beautiful! I hope you have a great March. Thanks for stopping by!
That tea pun was so bad omg xD
But yeah I SAW DEADPOOL, and I can see why it's one of your favourites! I honestly was not expecting it to be so good!
Glad you enjoyed your February - hope your March is as good! :D

I was so hyped up for the movie ever since I heard it was happening and in my opinion, it didn't disappoint. I felt like this was THE Deadpool movie. Definitely earned it's R rating, but it was so much fun. I know a lot of people that were on the fence about it, but I feel like it did great.

March has spring break so I'm already feeling like it'll be a great month.
